Neighbor Day is a simple, intentional way for our church family to love the people right around us. It’s about taking time to connect with our neighbors, share a small gift, and build real relationships that reflect the heart of Jesus.

We believe God has placed us in our neighborhoods on purpose, and Neighbor Day is an opportunity to live that out in a practical way—no pressure, just kindness, presence, and an open door.

We are also partnering with the nationwide coordinated effort called Good Neighbor Day, joining churches across the country in the same vision of loving and serving our communities.

Each participant is encouraged to prepare a small treat or gift, introduce themselves, and take a moment to get to know their neighbors. From there, we simply extend a warm invitation to church if the moment feels right.

Neighbor Day kits will be available for pickup on Sunday, May 3 and Sunday, May 10 in the GSCC lobby.

Neighbor Day isn’t about a single event—it’s about creating ongoing relationships that help people feel seen, valued, and welcomed.
