You can have a fun ministry experience with your kids right from home! Visit our Online Experience page to explore engaging videos and resources designed especially for GSCC Kids.

Our Early Childhood Ministry is exciting and inviting! Children thrive in a safe, fun environment designed for their specific age group. GSCC believes in ministering to the needs of children at every phase! Rest assured while parents enjoy the adult services, children are being cared for and taught by our qualified staff and servant leaders in an environment created just for them.

As we partner with families to help kids learn more about God, it is our hope that your child will learn:

God LOVES me.

God MADE me

Jesus wants to be my FRIEND forever.

Our little ones are beingministered to through praise and worship, Bible verses spoken over them and plenty of love in a safe, nurturing environment as parents attend the adult services. Babies are never too young to have God’s Word spoken over them and encouraging praise and worship surrounding them.

Preschoolers love to learn so we provide interactive, hands-on learning where children can experience God’s love through His Word, prayer, praise and worship, friendships and encouragement from our qualified staff and servant leaders.

Each week, our friendly, fun-loving teachers guide children through interactive Bible stories, exciting activities, tasty snacks and a time for fun in our amazing indoor play park.

GSCC Kids Jr meets in the Pond during all of our regular adult services for children from newborn through pre-kindergarten. Our classrooms open 15 minutes prior to the start of each service.

• Turtle Room - newborn to walking

• Duck Room - walking to 24 months

• Butterfly Room - 2 years old

• Flamingo Room - 3 years old

• Frog Room - 4 years old

• Gator Room - pre-kindergarten 5 years old

• Nursing Mothers, we provide a nursing area for your privacy. One of our servant leaders will be happy to help you locate the nursing area.

• Babies will be fed pre-measured formula, milk, or juice as provided only by the parent. Toddlers will be provided with a snack.

• All toys and surfaces are disinfected after each service with a nontoxic, germicidal spray.

• All crib sheets are changed and the mattress is cleaned before a baby occupies that crib.

• Please label all items belonging to your child.

• Please provide a change of clothing in your child’s bag in case of spills or accidents.

• All children’s diapers are checked and changed at least once during each service. The changing stations are disinfected after each use and new gloves and a new disposable liner paper are used for each child. Staff and servant leaders wear latex-free gloves when changing diapers and wash their hands between each child. A “I was changed and prayed for today.” sticker is placed on the front of the child’s diaper, so parents know immediately if the child’s diaper has been changed.

Your Child is Safe and Secure! We use a security sticker check-in system. Parents are issued a two-part security sticker. Parents receive a portion of that sticker and are required to return it when they pick up their child.

Please let our check-in leader know if your child has any allergies. This information will print directly on your child’s name tag.

Parents are asked not to enter the children’s ministry area as a safety and health precaution for all children. All of our servant leaders are screened by a thorough background check and carefully selected and approved by our pastoral staff. We consider it a privilege to care for your children and do not take lightly that responsibility.

The Pond & GSCC Kids church is equipped with a fully stocked first aid kit. CPR certified Servant Leaders are present during every service. Medications will not be administered by our staff.

Thank you for keeping our kids healthy! Please do not bring children that have fever, severe cough/cold, vomitting, diarrhea, unknown rash, or red or watery eyes with yellow discharge. Children must be symptom free for 24 hours before joining us in GSCC Kids church. If you have questions concerning any of the above, please do not hesitate to contact the NextGen Ministry Director.

A baby dedication is a ceremony where parents make a commitment to raise their children to hear, believe, and obey God. Our church family is witness to this and commits to help and encourage these parents to raise their children in the Lord.

Baby dedications happen twice a year. Visit the events page to see if there is a baby dedication service coming up. If you are ready to dedicate your child, we invite you to fill out the Baby Dedication interest form below.

Dedicating your child to the Lord is an amazing step to take as you continue praying over them and their future and seeking God’s wisdom as a parent. Our prayer is that one day your child will make a personal decision to put their faith in Jesus. We also pray God’s blessing over you as you continue raising your child to love God and live for Him. We can’t wait to see you at the service!

“I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him. So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there. –1 Samuel 1:27–28 (NIV)
