GSCC Kids Jr

Our Early Childhood Ministry is exciting and inviting! Children thrive in a safe, fun environment designed for their specific age group. GSCC believes in ministering to the needs of children at every phase! Rest assured while parents enjoy the adult services, children are being cared for and taught by our qualified staff and servant leaders in an environment created just for them.

As we partner with families to help kids learn more about God, it is our hope that your child will learn:

• Nursing Mothers, we provide a nursing area for your privacy. One of our servant leaders will be happy to help you locate the nursing area.

• Babies will be fed pre-measured formula, milk, or juice as provided only by the parent. Toddlers will be provided with a snack.

• All toys and surfaces are disinfected after each service with a nontoxic, germicidal spray.

• All crib sheets are changed and the mattress is cleaned before a baby occupies that crib.

• Please label all items belonging to your child.

• Please provide a change of clothing in your child’s bag in case of spills or accidents.

• All children’s diapers are checked and changed at least once during each service. The changing stations are disinfected after each use and new gloves and a new disposable liner paper are used for each child. Staff and servant leaders wear latex-free gloves when changing diapers and wash their hands between each child. A “I was changed and prayed for today.” sticker is placed on the front of the child’s diaper, so parents know immediately if the child’s diaper has been changed.

Parents are asked not to enter the children’s ministry area as a safety and health precaution for all children. All of our servant leaders are screened by a thorough background check and carefully selected and approved by our pastoral staff. We consider it a privilege to care for your children and do not take lightly that responsibility.

The Pond & GSCC Kids church is equipped with a fully stocked first aid kit. CPR certified Servant Leaders are present during every service. Medications will not be administered by our staff.

A baby dedication is a ceremony where parents make a commitment to raise their children to hear, believe, and obey God. Our church family is witness to this and commits to help and encourage these parents to raise their children in the Lord.

Dedicating your child to the Lord is an amazing step to take as you continue praying over them and their future and seeking God’s wisdom as a parent. Our prayer is that one day your child will make a personal decision to put their faith in Jesus. We also pray God’s blessing over you as you continue raising your child to love God and live for Him. We can’t wait to see you at the service!
