Serve

You have been given gifts, desires, talents and purposes that are needed here at GSCC. Maybe you know where you “fit” … maybe you have no idea … in either case, rest assured everything you need for connecting here can be discovered and unpackaged to the benefit of not only yourself but the entire body. We constantly receive stories of individuals who started serving at GSCC and by investing their time and talent in God’s house have now grown and cultivated NEW facets about themselves that they could have never imagined previously.

No matter your skill set or background – you can be SURE that God has a PLACE for you in here at GSCC … TAKE YOUR PLACE.

Jesus came to serve. “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant” (Matthew 20:26). Jesus shows us what the Father is like (John 14:9) — not just what He was like 2,000 years ago, but what He is like all the time.

True greatness is not found in power, but in service to others. Jesus set the standard. The meaning of life is not in simply having authority over others, but in helping and giving your life away to His greatest love … His people. Paul said that we should “serve one another in love” (Galatians 5:13). “Carry each other’s burdens,” he wrote, “and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2). “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves” (Philippians 2:3).

GSCC Tech Arts is a great place to get connected if you have a desire to serve in our audio or video production teams. This includes working in the production booth on Sunday mornings as a sound engineer or presentation software operator, or working with our live streaming team as a camera operator, director, or sound engineer. We will host regular trainings for each of these available positons so don’t worry if you have no previous experience in these areas.
