Safety Protocols

As we begin to reopen for in-person services at GSCC, your health and safety is the upmost priority for us. We have taken extensive precautions to keep GSCC as sanitary as possible.

  • Everyone over age 2 entering sanctuary is required to wear a mask.  If you don't have a mask we will provide you with one.  Once seated you may remove your mask, but will need to put it back on to leave your seat for any reason (exit, restroom, etc)
  • Please maintain a touchless environment, i.e. no handshakes, hugs, fist bumps, high fives, etc.
  • Social distancing is required.
  • To maintain a touchless environment we will not be providing coffee or snacks. The water fountains are turned off so please bring your own refreshment with a lid to service if needed.
  • Bulletins and communion packets will not be available.
  • Greeters will open doors for all guests.
  • Everyone temperature will be checked.  Anyone with a temperature of 100.5 or higher will not be allowed to stay.  (CDC Guidelines)
  • Everyone coming in will be offered hand sanitizer and a smile in place of a handshake.
  • To maintain social distance, the maximum capacity of the sanctuary is 250. Once that number is met, guests will be ushered to the Activity Center for overflow seating.
  • Ushers will be positioned at the sanctuary doors and throughout the sanctuary.

Ushers will seat all guest by family units, and will leave the recommended spacing (2 seats) between units.  We will seat from the front of the sanctuary to the back.

  • We will dismiss by rows from back to front of sanctuary.  Once dismissed, please exit the building.

  • No offering will be taken during the services.  Tithes and offering can be placed at the offering boxes located at the sanctuary doors or you can give virtually on the GSCC Connect app or at gsccconnect.com/giving.

  • All areas will be cleared after service so that the area can be fogged with sanitizing solution.

  • We have installed UV Air purifiers to sanitize the air.
